Description

The Honeywell Step Controllers enable operation of multicompressor refrigeration packs or condenser fans using a sequential or cyclic switching sequence.

Stage Up or Stage Down is determined via a dead band pressure switch, across a set of eight volts-free normally open contacts. The contacts provide simple step control of up to eight stages of compressor / condenser fans, with an interval maximum of six-minutes between successive starts of any switching stages.

Six bit-switches located on the board ensure easy configuration for any application. On and Off delays for compressors / condenser fans are fully adjustable using two potentiometers. On-board LED provides illuminated status of individual relay outputs, as well as illuminated indicating for Power, Up and Down.

The Step Controllers have integral diagnostic routines to enable quick on-site fault finding. There are two versions of the Step Controller: 24Vac or 240Vac, however each relay is capable of switching 240Vac (5A).
