Maxey Moverley has a nationwide team of directly employed field engineers providing a range of site services.
We cover all mainland UK and our services include:

Our field service force is an extension of our leading technical resource centre. Our engineers are experts in their field and have the back up of component level repair knowledge gained over many years.
This combination of on-site ability and component level repair means we can maintain equipment for a much lower overall cost than our competitors. It also enables us uniquely to support older equipment on-site that is now devoid of manufacturer support.

Variable Speed Drives
To support our supply of new ABB Drives we provide a range of on-site services for Variable Speed Drives, which also complement out back to base repair offering. These include:
- Rapid attendance to onsite breakdowns
- Provision of loan units to leave the site operational
- Ability to offer repair or new replacement units
- Configuration of both new and repaired units
- Full installation across the UK
- Delivery of new and collection of old units
- Full technical helpline support on all of our drive units
Our Onsite services are backed up by our highly experienced back to base repair team, with access to diagnostic and test rigs.
Merrychef Microwave repairs
Maxey Moverley is launching an on-site Merrychef repair and maintenance service
We have many years experience of providing component level repairs to Catering controllers, including the full range of Merrychef ovens. These repairs and refurbished printed circuit boards are a fraction of the cost of new replacements. They are identical to new, but have been fully repaired and refurbished in our ISO 9001 workshop. They also benefit from a full 12 month warranty.
Responding to demand we are now introducing on site services to complement these repairs. The cost of site attendance and replacement spare parts will be significantly cheaper than our competitors due to our component level repairs.
Many sites want to use of refurbished electronics but don’t have the engineering skills to safely replace them in the oven. This is where over new service comes in. Our engineers have been trained on the repair of on-site Merrychef Microwave ovens enabling us to offer a full breakdown/fix and maintenance service.

Temperature monitoring systems
Maxey Moverley provides a full temperature monitoring calibration service offering – attending site to check temperature probes are working within tolerance.
- Each probe is checked at the terminal and at location using a Comark probe.
- Calibration certificate provided for audit and compliance purposes.
- Engineers fully certified for Working at Height.
- Three level reading per probe.
Refrigerant Gas Detection Systems
We maintain hundreds of refrigerant gas detection systems throughout the UK across a wide range of gases, system types and manufacturers, ensuring F-Gas compliance and minimising the leaks of refrigerant gases. This enables our customers to detect leaks wherever and whenever they occur – a vital Health & Safety, Compliance and Cost consideration.
Our maintenance arm is backed by Maxey Moverley’s unrivalled technological prowess as a repair centre. This enables us to successfully maintain systems that manufacturers have condemned as being obsolete, but with the Maxey Moverley approach can provide years of additional cost effective service. Furthermore, we can provide a condition based upgrade programme as part of the maintenance package to ensure estates are kept in tip top and up to date states, avoiding costly and disruptive upgrade roll outs.
