Maxey Moverley is a well-established technical services provider to end users and maintenance companies working in infrastructure, retail and food service.

Our core activity is back to base electronic repair services. We repair to component level and have an excellent record of high-quality output. We have now developed this capability to provide field services, so we can bring our expertise to you, to resolve problems where the equipment needs to be fixed in situ. Our workshop also produces and supports an increasing range of spare parts and refurbished units which are available for direct sale, either through our website or via our eBay shop.

Technical Excellence

Our technical capability is built on the experience and depth of a broad-based engineering team that understands, diagnoses and repairs a wide range of complex electronic products. Using advanced diagnostic tools and specialist rework facilities, we carry out precise component-level repairs, including BGA and surface-mount devices, to restore equipment to full operating performance.

Work is completed within one of the UK’s largest and most specialised return-to-base repair centres, accredited to BSI ISO 9001. The facility is structured around dedicated repair cells for specific technologies and manufacturers, supported by state-of-the-art test rigs and a wide range of specialist equipment to handle varied and demanding assemblies.

We do more than correct the presenting fault. Each unit is fully refurbished, tested to defined performance criteria and returned with comprehensive documentation, allowing us to confidently provide a 12-month warranty as standard. Close relationships with major equipment manufacturers, combined with our ongoing R&D programme, ensure we remain at the forefront of emerging technologies and repair solutions.

Our market-leading research and development (R&D) programme keeps Maxey Moverley at the forefront of rapidly evolving electronics technology. Continuous investment in R&D underpins our long-term technical leadership and ensures that our repair capability evolves in line with customer needs and new product innovation.

Importantly, R&D activity is an internal investment – development work is never charged to individual repair jobs.

  • Comprehensive repair documentation including installation instructions, service diagrams, part number sourcing, and critical hardware, firmware, and software updates.

At the core of our R&D operation is a unique repair database that captures detailed failure analysis from across thousands of units. This insight allows our engineers to identify recurring faults, anticipate component failures, and apply preventative refurbishment as part of the standard repair process – improving reliability, extending equipment life, and enhancing overall system uptime.
