Maxey Moverley is a well-established technical services provider to end users and maintenance companies working in infrastructure, retail and food service.

Our core activity is back to base electronic repair services. We repair to component level and have an excellent record of high-quality output. We have now developed this capability to provide field services, so we can bring our expertise to you, to resolve problems where the equipment needs to be fixed in situ. Our workshop also produces and supports an increasing range of spare parts and refurbished units which are available for direct sale, either through our website or via our eBay shop.

Technical Excellence

Our very experienced and broad-based team has the strength in depth to understand, diagnose and repair a vast breadth of product types. We use advance diagnostic equipment to aid understanding and replace components of all types, including BGA chips.

We have been BSi registered since 1998 for the provision of electronic repair services. Our repairs do not just fix the specific fault but provide a fully refurbished unit that we are happy to warrant for 12 months.

Close links with major equipment manufacturers together with our own R&D programme enable us to stay at the forefront of technology and repair solutions.

Our repair service includes:

  • No repair, no fee – if a unit cannot be repaired, you pay nothing.
  • Full functional testing – every repair is verified against operating specification using dedicated diagnostic and load-test equipment.
  • 12-month warranty – all repaired and refurbished units are supplied with a full one-year warranty as standard.
  • Complete traceability – each item is assigned a QR code, tracked, and visible through our online system from receipt to dispatch.
  • New protective packaging – all items are returned in high-quality, purpose-designed packaging to ensure safe delivery and professional presentation.

Each repair combines component-level diagnostics with precise rework techniques to restore original functionality and reliability. The result is longer equipment life, controlled operating costs, and measurable reductions in carbon emissions by avoiding premature replacement.

Technical Resource Centre

Our return-to-base and technical resource centre is one of the largest and most specialised facilities of its kind in the UK. Accredited to BSI ISO 9001, it provides the structure, consistency, and quality assurance needed to deliver high-standard electronic repair across many major equipment types and manufacturers. This facility includes:

  • Dedicated repair cells for specific technologies.
  • State-of-the-art diagnostic and test equipment.
  • Full BGA and surface-mount rework facilities for precise component-level repair.

Importantly, R&D activity is an internal investment – development work is never charged to individual repair jobs.
